LOS ANGELES -- The American Humane Association says it's enlisted an independent investigator to look into the death of a shark after a commercial filming in Los Angeles. The 5-foot shark died March 6 after it became ill and was removed from a pool at a home. It had been shipped from New York to LA for a Kmart commercial. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals claims the shark became stressed when actors jumped in the pool. However, the American Humane Association, which had a monitor on the set, says nobody went into the pool with the shark.
